Bow Making

Our Bow making Workshop is a fantastic course to take your carving skill to the next level, learning the principles of bow making throughout the day.

You’ll have one to one instruction from Lewis who will guide you through the process of making a traditional bow from scratch using basic tools, A knife & Axe.

From the meeting point you’ll be led into the woodland to our simplistic camp, the summer meadows are absolutely stunning. Arnside forest is home to the Native Roe deer as well as Coastal Birds and Butterflies.

Throughout the course, Wild foods will be cooked over the fire, this is a great chance to rest up from carving and have a go cooking outdoors!

The course will cater for all dirty requirements providing students with a Wild Lunch, Refreshments and an eavning Wild Snack.
