ABOUT INTO WILDERNESS

" At Into Wilderness we persue a deep connection to nature , specializing in a minimalistic approach to outdoor enterprises. We believe that bushcraft is a gate way to exploring nature through the eyes of our early ancestors. By relying on primitive technology and a knowledge of nature, we can understand why the conservation of the natural world is important .

Our knowledge of nature is why we strive to protect it., and why we go to great lengths to practice bushcraft in a sustainable way. "

"Where we go , the bushcraft skills follow"

This is a quote that we think about a lot when we are at work in the woods. It almost seems open ended to us, as if the saying requires you to think- I believe that is the intention behind it, as to practice bushcraft you need to think. Slow down, apply your knowledge of the natural world and where ever you may go, that mindset , that understanding of nature certainly goes with you."

" Remember that you belong to Nature, not it to you"
- Grey Owl

"My vision for Into Wilderness Bushcraft is to build a community that have a deep connection to nature.  primitive bushcraft skills and connections that we as humans once had with nature. play an unequitable role in Human existence.  Once you have strayed down the road into learning about nature from a bushcarft perspective, the possibility's are limitless. I have always been fascinated by our early ancestors, especially in Britain, and the best thing about bushcraft is that the more you learn the less you realize you actually know.  However,  living in nature brings it's own certain wisdom.

When you book onto a Into Wilderness experience, I endeavor to pass on the instinctive interest in all things that we consider the natural world and I convey what I believe to be our role within it.  I particularly draw our attention back to the simplicity that comes with a bushcraft journey through the wild.

Applying bushcraft skills as and when we need to and  finding yourself, your true pace in nature is just something that happens along the way.

I believe people who spend more time in nature are happiest and kindest.  So it doesn't matter what background you come from, join me to create some beautiful adventures in wild places..."

Into Wilderness is dedicated toward providing real experiences of the natural world
