Lewis Tingle
& Eva Henderson-Hirst

Lewis is a born woodsman with a deep rooted connection to Derbyshire woodlands that shaped his learning journey as a heritage crafts person, forager and experimental archaeologist. Lewis founded Into Wilderness in 2022, dedicating  the company towards reconnecting people with the natural world and prehistoric heritage. Eva was instrumental in providing logistical support and her expert understanding in the field of Herbal medicines is second to none.
Together, Lewis & Eva are able to provide a range of expertise making outdoor enterprise and ancient skills more accessible .
Through digital outlets, media and first hand experiences we believe that IntoWilderness is key in supporting the return of heritage crafts in Britain.

" At Into Wilderness we persue a deep connection to nature , specializing in a minimalistic approach to outdoor enterprises. We believe that bushcraft is a gate way to exploring nature through the eyes of our early ancestors. By relying on primitive technology and a knowledge of nature, we can understand why the conservation of the natural world is important .

Our knowledge of nature is why we strive to protect it, and why we go to great lengths to practice bushcraft in a sustainable way. "

Lewis Tingle - Founder of INTOWILDERNESS
